Francis has been with the team since 2013 as Research Engineer, having graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Business Information Technology.

After 3 years in the role Francis went to Southampton University supported by JE3, graduating with a MSc in Software Engineering and returning to JE3 to build the Software Development team.

Francis also has a security focus with his MSc dissertation attempting to combine capability maturity models and threat models to assess an organisation’s Cyber Security readiness.

Francis is responsible for reviewing global market technology trends and designing, building, deploying and securing new products and services. Following this, Francis is co-founder of several products reaching MVP including a project codename foresight; a financial forecasting platform.
